The thing goes about protocols

I did not know that, where is it written?

I do my job that way because I've always done it that way.

They have not told me that.

When we come to a company to carry out a new data protection project, we find in most cases that each department is watertight , communication often does not flow between them and, as far as we are concerned, Regarding the processing of personal data, the same procedures are not carried out in a homogenized manner .

One of the keys to success in the implementation of this type of project is to determine (and apply) a series of procedures so that, regardless of the place, section, department or headquarters of a company in which personal data is handled, everyone knows how process and use such data.

It is not about hindering employees, managers or department heads. It is not a question, either, of the work becoming standardized , restricting itself excessively and leaving no room for creativity. Nor is it about increasing paperwork for the sake of it so that the real work of the company is slowed down. It is about that all the personnel that treats personal or confidential data of the organization, have clear and precise parameters established on what can and cannot be done in relation to the personal data under the responsibility of the company.

The protocols to be implemented in a company usually have two different types of content : those legally established and internal company policies (always within what is protected by law):

BYOD protocols can be added to these protocols; withdrawal of medical records; guest data usage; relationship with advisory clients...

Thus, some rules of the game are established , in which everyone knows what they can and cannot do with which both the organization itself, as well as its employees and clients, will obtain benefits:

Thus, we recommend that you establish protocols in your organization , in order to standardize data processing and gain better control over them in your company. You will see how all the pieces fit together...
